"Person-centered, solution-focused — working with you to realize your true potential and create positive, sustainable change."
Emily brings a breadth of clinical experience that is genuinely rare. Before joining Clarity, she worked across crisis centers, inpatient and in-home care, hospice, juvenile justice, and mobile clinician roles — serving children, adolescents, adults, and older adults through both individual and group therapy. That range of experience shapes the way she shows up: grounded, adaptable, and attuned to the full complexity of what clients carry.
Her approach is person-centered and solution-focused, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care. She works with each client to identify their own goals, build on their strengths, and move toward the kind of change that actually lasts.
Emily holds a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science from Wilmington University and a Master of Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh. For clients who want it, she is also able to integrate Christian counseling into her work.
