Cynthia-Dawn — known to clients and colleagues as CD — holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from La Roche College and a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Chatham College. Her clinical background spans academic counseling, residential treatment for children and adolescents, foster care, and Christian counseling across age groups.

Her approach is person-centered and solution-focused, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Humanistic therapy, and positive psychology — personalized to each client's needs. She works with children, adolescents, adults, and couples, with particular depth in anxiety, trauma, grief, postpartum depression and anxiety, and relational wounds. Christian framework integration is available upon request.

Outside the office, CD lives in Pittsburgh with her husband and four children. She volunteers with the Girl Scouts of America and enjoys reading, crafting, and family time. Her clients describe sessions with her as steady, deeply attuned, and quietly transformative — therapy at its best.
